A Picture Can Say A Thousand Words...

We just had too many pictures to choose from for our official adoption profile with LDS Family Services, so we thought that we would share just a few (okay, kind of a lot) more pictures with you!

I picked this picture because I love the expression on Tim's face--a mixture of love and trying not to laugh.

We are so grateful for the blessings of the temple and that we are married for time and all eternity.

And we are so grateful for our sweet son, Mason, and that he is sealed to us for time and eternity as well!

Tim loves being a Dad!  And Mason loves his Dad!  Mason loves greeting his Daddy every day when he comes home from work at the hospital.  They love to play with balls together, ride outside on Mason's tonka truck and Tim gives him his bath each night before bedtime.

Chelsey thinks the best job in the world is being a Mom!  Every morning she gets to wake up to the sound of her baby yelling down to her to come get him out of his crib and then seeing a big smile on his face when she walks into the room singing the Good Morning song.  Their days together usually involve lots of time reading books, playing pretend (knights/prince/princess, firemen, pirates, playing instruments in a band, etc...) eating (Mason needs lots of snacks!), visiting the park or a local museum, going to playgroup or Music Makers, story time at the library, etc...  It's also a day full of kisses and hugs, singing songs, and dancing in the kitchen!  Basically, every day with Mason is wonderful (even in his sad or grumpy moments).

Mason is growing up so fast!  We can't believe that he talks our ear off, climbs and jumps off everything, loves to pretend to be a prince or a knight as he runs around his house on his stick horse with a sword, can recite his ABCs and count to twenty, and gives us the best hugs and kisses each day.  Here is one of our favorite videos of Mason, but it was taken on one of our camera phones rather than our camcorder so the picture quality isn't quite as good, but it shows what a cute and fun little boy he is!

We love our family and love for them to visit us.  Here is a picture of Tim's parents visiting us in Virginia.  We are at a beautiful, local park.

In October 2012 we went on a beach trip with Tim’s family to Myrtle Beach.  Mason loved all the time with his family and had so much fun playing with his cousins!  (Shown enjoying a motorcycle ride with his cousin.)

Chelsey's family visiting us in Virginia.  We are touring Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home, in this picture.

In June 2012, we went to Florida with Chelsey’s family to visit Disney World and Universal Studios.  Mason’s favorite parks were Animal Kingdom and Seuss Landing.  He LOVED the rides at Seuss Landing and demanded to go again and again.  And he LOVED all the attention and love from his Grandparents and Aunts!

Tim proposed in the cutest, most creative way:  it's a long story, but it involved a boat ride at sunset, dancing and fireworks.  Loved it.  Now, each year we try to do something to celebrate the anniversary of the day that Tim proposed to Chelsey.

On a Bahamas cruise, we had some great fun playing on board the ship.  The best activity was a trampoline with a bungee cord that we were strapped into.  We were able flip around high in the air.

Central Park.  We had so much fun visiting NYC for Thanksgiving 2009.  We went to the Macy's Day parade, walked around Central Park, went to the muscials Shrek and West Side Story, took the Staten Island Ferry to view the Statue of Liberty and ate some yummy New York Pizza!

We love Disney World!  Before Mason joined our family, just the two of us visited Florida to take in the Disney magic. We waited in line with all of the other kids to get pictures with some of our favorite characters.  And we vowed to take our kids there as soon as we could!

Mason’s first visit to Florida was in March 2012.  Disney was a new experience for us since we had a child of our own to introduce to the Disney wonders.  Mason loved it and we loved watching Mason’s excitement.

Date night!  Spending time together is important to us.  Here we are eating at an Indian food restaurant, one of our favorites!  And here is Mason, enjoying a stuffed toy that we won for him after a date night at Dave & Busters arcade.

We love playing in the water...going wakeboarding and to the beach especially!

Halloween!  We had fun in our home-made Ninja Turtle costumes at a friend's Halloween party.

For Halloween 2012 Mason dressed up as the cutest parrot you have ever seen!  He was so excited for the candy and to play with all of his friends, since we went trick-or-treating as a group.   He especially wanted a lollipop!

Obviously you could tell we had fun with holidays before Mason joined our family (did you notice the Ninja Turtle picture above???), but really adding a baby into the mix makes it so much more fun!  Here is a pic of Mason's first visit to Santa!

During Christmas season 2012 we went to a local park that had a special holiday event… a visit to Santa, a carousel, a train ride with twinkle lights to view along the tracks, live bands, and special holiday crafts.  It was so much fun and a great way to celebrate the holiday season!  (Pictured as we waited for our turn on the carousel.)

Mason going on a boat ride at a nearby park.

We love all kinds of family activities...such as taking Mason to the Life and Science Museum where he can see butterflies and dinosaurs (not pictured)...

going to the park...

enjoying seasonal festivities like a trip to a corn maze and pumpkin patch in the Fall  (the picture above is the pumpkin patch we visited in 2011),

(the pony ride was Mason's favorite activity at the pumpkin patch we visited in 2012)

and visiting local museums (this one was a sports museum, if you couldn't tell!).

We love each other so much and can't wait to add even more love to our family with another baby!
